Hello there~ I’m from ‘s weekly comment project!
First thing first! I really like the use of different textures for human and spirit form. This does make it even easier to tell from the glance that the spirit/ghost is something totally different from the other side.
I also like the character design. It’s not too complex, but they still looks unique and rather quite cute too So nice job there~
The paint splatter pattern background here also looks interesting. It does add a nice abstract and fantasy feel to the picture.
Now… For the part that could be improved. Aside from part about cloth folds on the joints areas and color of character and background being too close to each other… (that was already mentioned), I would say shading on some part could still be further improved. For example, the shading on the hair still felt a little lacking. Additional shading to give hair feeling of being strands should give more dimension to this picture.
Anyhow~ This is still a very lovely picture. Keep up the good work

Hello! Here from ProjectComment .
What I love the most about this is how real the poses look, like they're frozen mid-jump. There's no stiffness or awkward positioning with the body, which really makes the poses believable. The hands are also something I think look really accurate and natural here, especially the hands of the character on the left which look like they're reaching out. I think the style of this is super cute and the proportions work well together. The designs of the characters themselves are also something I really enjoy about this. Their colors work really well together.
The splatter effect creates a cool sort of vignette effect around the characters, though I think the biggest issue here is that the hair and pink areas blend into background splatters too much. I'd suggest playing around with altering the colors of that until it looks more separate from the colors of the characters.
Something that doesn't look as off but can be improved is the folds on the clothes. The sort of twisting folds on the sleeves look really good, but it's lacking folds at the joints like the elbows, hips and knees. If you look at the way clothes actually rest on the body, you'll see they tend to bunch up at the joints that are bent. I think that using references for the clothes and paying more attention to that in the future will really make your artwork look more professional.
Overall, I think this is still a really nice piece with some interesting character designs! Keep up the good work c:
