It's been a long time since I last draw Naruto fanart.It's Sakura VS Karin, lolz...who do you think will win ? or should I say...who do you think Sasuke would choose ?

I honestly hate Karin and Sakura isnt much better. Once Sakura got over Sasuke she was a million times better. Fighting wise? Sakura would obliterate Karin. xD

I have no liking towards Sasuke... I'd rather see Karin paired with Suigetsu!
I don't care much for Sakura (in the sense that I don't like or dislike her). I didn't like her in part 1, however she's tolerable now.
Really, the main reason people hate Karin is the same exact reason they hated Sakura in part 1: she wants Sasuke. And when it's all done and over with (which it is, however not in the english dub yet, which seems to be what most people watch now anyways

Sakura is wayyy better and im not just saying that just cuz sakura is my fav character but at least she is amazing. Who wouldnt want inhuman strength. Anyway its not my place to bash or anything but try to compare their achievements. Karin barely did anything at the five kage summit when sasuke was versing the raikage. i know that sakura was weak in the beginning but she has my respect for her determination to get stronger. I dont care if u like karin better but be reasonable. Sakura would beat her by a long shot. All Karin can do is sense chakra at a farther range that most ninja and she has okay taijutsu skills and i dont think she knows any jutsu but i can be wrong. I personally like Karin but Sakura is WAYYY better, not the best but better than Karin

Sakura is really not that strong. It's her chakra control that makes her strength inhuman.
At least Karin was useful to Sasuke and contributed to Taka. Plus Sakura got Naruto and her
comrades into trouble when she decides to go after Sasuke. Team 7 could have avoided
conflict between Sasuke if she never abandoned her team and made rash decisions.
Hell, Sasuke was about to kill her intentionally. She really isn't all that bright.
Say what you want, you damn Sakura fangirl, but not everyone thinks your precious Sakura is amazing. I don't.

Kishimoto can't write females. Sakura and Karin are no exceptions.
Aside from Temari, Konan and Tsunade, all the other girls have no actual purpose but demographic appeal and playing to the Smurfette Principle. Which means they're not characters who happen to be female, they're females who happen to be characters. Thus they have no depth, no room for development and mostly serve only to represent weakness. And since being weak is no option for a male character... You do the maths.

Karin isn't even my favourite. I just support her more than Sakura. But, you're
probably right about Kishimoto not being able to make "strong" females.
And the fact that she wasn't entirely useless is good enough for me.
With her being a "supporting" character. I think Temari is the best female, IMO.
But, as you may know, she isn't around enough to be known for her dynamics.

It's not about being "strong" the way male characters always are.
It's about being there to move the plot along, having a purpose other than demographic appeal. Sakura does nothing plot-relevant in part I. She kills Sasori in part II but she's back to useless right after.
Karin could be helpful and her characterization as a total slut was funny. But she's not doing shit aside from locating persons. She might has well be shipped off somewhere once Itachi and Killer Bee were dealt with, a little like Suigetsu and Juugo.
Temari is indeed useful, able to win a fight from the get go, smart and defeats TenTen and Tayuya on her own. Tsunade has insane physical strength and took over as Hokage. Konan is the first to have figured out Madara's powers and the only one that had be able to wound him so far. Yet she was killed off before playing a REAL part in the plot.
Kushina is the obligatory deceased mother of Shonen. TenTen is wallpaper; Hinata had no other theme than confessing her love to Naruto (ain't that great?); Ino used to be acatalyst for Sakura's own theme but now that Sakura has grown, she is purposeless; Kurenai is weak and now pregnant so no other purpose but motherhood; Anko could have been a great character that could help against Orochimaru but didn't do shit; Hanabi was just there to show how weak Hinata is; Rin is barely acknowledged to exist and is another healer in love...
And it goes on and on. Female characters in Naruto could very much not exist at all save for the aforementionned Tsunade, Konan and Temari.

Nice rant but I think you know what I meant by "strong"
Not only in strength, but what makes a good female character.
And don't forget the the Fifth Mizukage. You can't deny that she is
great. Oh, and no Sakura DID NOT kill Sasori. That's like
saying that Gaara killed Kimimaro when he did not.

I would pair Sakura with Kakashi actually; And Karin with Sasuke, *I don't like either one of them* they so deserve each other.

Well Sakura and Karin are FRIENDS now
But I don't think Sasuke would choose either (NaruSaku/SuiKa FTW!) He wouldn't go with TenTen, Ino or Hinata either (LeeTen, ChoIno, KibaHina.) I see Temari as an awesome independent girl. And I won't even consider putting him with a guy (I do like yaoi, but Sasuke yaoi? Nah) So I don't pair Sasuke. He can have a girl who only shows up once then magically disappears after she made him a litter of Uchiha babies.
