Awesome stance and fitting for this day.
I really like how the dark edges centre our focus on the main subject matter, and yet it seems to reiterate the darkness more, as well.
I'm not sure about the texture and all of that, as it does make this piece more manipulated than not... the setting is good, though, and I like how you've set this all up to take a photo of it.
It's a bit spooky how we can't actually see the eyes... but yes, great stuff all in all.
