This is (part of) the Silver Herd of Marbach, a well known group of arabian mares that has been in existence for quite a while. They belong to the Marbach stud in southern Germany and today I was lucky enough to see these horses in person. There is something magical about seeing a herd of horses running together. It might not sound like much, but to me and to many people who were watching as well it was special. It is just beautifl to see this group move together, turning in sync, like a swarm of fish or a flock of birds. It probably added to the magic that the horses were very beautiful arabian horses I was torn between taking photos and just watching, so there are not many pictures and they're not the best quality, I'm afraid.
