HEY I completely forgot to upload this here lol but have a personal art piece!
I came out as bi in 2018 when I was 15. But after a few years of identifying that way, I started feeling doubts. It's hard being raised all your life expecting you to be with a man, to realise that's just not what you want. I was never raised in a homophobic environment but the world is, and will likely always be, very heteronormative. It took a while of questioning and worrying about what would happen if I identified differently, like being bi was a blanket term I could always lean on 'just in case' I was lying to myself.
In November 2022 I decided to 'take the plunge' and start coming out to my close friends and family, trying out the new label of being a lesbian. It was a bit weird to say it out loud but the second I did, it just felt right and I've never looked back. I'm so HAPPY to finally figure out this side of me and not feeling worried about it anymore!
