Based on another drawing, "Fujimoto Awards"[link]I had started yesterday and ended this morning, in remembrance of the summer, wich is still running out here, in Brazil.
Now, let's play ... give your comment and say one characteristic of Fujimoto that be top-of-mind!

Well, Frank is the partner of Horatio Caine, one of the main characters of popular crime drama, CSI: Miami. Caine is a crime scene investigator.
How most episodes began was with someone being killed and Caine's unit happening upon the crime scene. We would get a little information on how the person died, or what happened, or who they were, or something like that, and then Caine would put his sunglasses on, make a pun of some kind, and IMMEDIATELY the theme song and opening sequence would kick in.
Fujimoto's look, shades and pose so reminded me of the start of a CSI: Miami episode that I felt compelled to make a pun like the opening of an episode as a comment.

Fuji's got purple SHAAAAAADES! 8-D What an awesome picture!! So summery. :33 I also love his hair and ascot. The shades of color in his beautiful hair, glinting in the sunlight, look totally sweet. ^_~ That's very, very good.
Aww, he is kinda scatterbrained and just ever so adorable! I think one of his most prominent qualities is his immense dedication and loyalty and love--for his family, and the entire ocean, and everything. Not to mention he's bloody brilliant. I also loooove how shy and awkward and sweet he is! Omgosh. <3
But yes, so many burning questions for Miyazaki about him! Like, why IS it that an apparently Caucasian (and completely GORgeous) redhead has a Japanese name? Then again, as one of my film professors pointed out, it's pretty odd that most anime characters look western, but so many live in Japan...O.o True...but still, I wanna know all about Fuji's fascinating past! =O How/where/when he met Granmammare, how he became the knowledgeable and magical sea wizard/marine biologist he appears to be today, what his life was like before he met GM, and all the curious details of his present...! +3 Yeah, I tell ya, a movie all about *him* is very much required! ~.^

*sigh* Yeah...I wish for a movie or something all about him, must beg and plead for it, hehehe...it's awesome that he's so mysterious and we can imagine all sorts of things about him. Still, there's SO much I'd love to know for sure that the curiosity drives me bonkers, lol. x3 It is possible, though--perhaps no one really knows everything about him, and they deliberately left a lot of things unknown. So they might have to figure it out themselves, anyway, before sharing his story with everyone else. ^~ Tehehee...

Yeah, I also think it could have been explained more.In my opinion, the elixirs can give him power to control those waves and ability to live underwater, although he still needs to breathe.But the biggest problem is how he learned that...in books?How old are him?Who he was?

Ahaha, I love his purple sunglasses! And the way that you shaded his hair and necktie thing is so pretty! It looks super squishy and realistic! The hatching that you did in pen adds a really nice effect, too. Awesome picture!
