I recently watched Tarzan. I have mixed opinions on the movie.Like, I love the characters. It's one of the most complex Disney movies, the characters are so different from Disney's other work, and the soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention Tarzan is pretty sexy. And I love Minnie Driver as Jane; she's just so adorable.
But, it's almost too depressing for me. Like, I don't enjoy watching the sad bits of it. When he's up in his tree house and finally learns about his parents, and puts on that suit, and walks towards his gorilla mommy, and I just want to give them both a hug. I don't know.
Gah! Disney [and recently, PIXAR], is the one franchise that can make me cry, guaranteed. I even cry at the HAPPY parts! Ugh. Pathetic.
But anyway. Here's the cute little British Jane, from Tarzan.

Tarzan is one of my favorites just for that reason though. Yes it's got its sad parts, but they make it not only more realistic, but they make the happy parts feel that much happier! If those sad parts weren't there, it's just be another story. No one is meant to enjoy the sad parts of course
This is lovely!! The colors and softness are so Jane! I'm slightly biases, Jane is my favorite of the Disney girls easily
