旅人 スナフキン ~ Traveler SnufkinTitle taken from the Tanoshii Moomin Ikka soundtrack, because I lack the creativity to come up with an original one...
and I can figure out how to type Japanese words now, yarh! o3o
I've completely fallen in love with the Moomins again, read a few books now and simply love em! such cute stories and great adventures! <:
spent a few days on this one and still not entirely satisfied with it ( whenever am I satisfied with my work...!? )
Tried drawing Snufkin in my style...what'cha think??
please forgive me for the terrible BG, I tried re-drawing it many times, and can't get any better than this *sigh*

As i said before: you've mixed your style and the moomin style very well
Snufkin looks like himself and has his original charm, and still you can see, that you drew him

I don't think you should be worrying about the background, if you really must do something about it, i think some sand / a path under his feet would be good.
And your style is good, i think this looks like something that could have been taken straight out of a Moomin picture book
