Description here we have two characters from two media entertainment presentations that i as of recently like: homestuck and the lorax.
both have attracted an amazing amount of attention online, both positive and negative.
i had some kind of speech planed out, but i'm tired and don't really want to type anymore.
so i'll just say this.
while you may hate certain aspect of a fandom (THE STUPID FANS THAT RUIN IT?), that does not mean the material itself is bad.
if you find something that you personally dislike or find disturbing... jeez, deal with it, i guess.
feel free to complain and rage all you want, but bitchy-whiny-bitchy gets annoying after a while.
but i still think that taste is called in to question... what is personally considered appropriate.
blahblahblah i'm talking in circles, i think.
point is, while there's some stuff that isn't cool at all to you (and you may be totally right), you can't really decide what's made... only what you see.
rage to people who hate the same things as you.
don't try to make ME FEEL BAD for liking something you don't.

I know where you're getting at. Having recently seen the NC review of The Lorax, I do have to agree that they could've handled the Onceler's character much better. But I guess I love the lil' goober for his dress sense anyway. ^^ Even when the critics are right, we'll sometimes find something salvageable. ...and I've just gone off topic, haven't I?

i do like the once-ler... he is cute! though i like The Internet's interpretation of his character making him darker.

I agreed with this....

I used to have A SWARM of FUCKING ULTRA FANS around my old account last year....
& I made this account just to avoid them from spamming hate notes to me...

They were forcing me to stop drawing some OTPs that I like.... They always kept thinking that my fandoms to my favorite OTPs was 'disgusting' & 'gross'...

me, i get annoyed with all the pairings... and all the drama ABOUT pairings! romance in its normal form isn't worth that much fuss, let alone IMAGINARY ROMANCE.
