this is a thanksmas (you heard me) present for my dad and step mom. this is an anthro picture of one of our two dogs, renata (i can never really remember how to spell it. are there 2 Ts?). she's a little sweetie who is very (possibly OVERLY) affectionate, but she's extremely hyper and demanding. she ALWAYS needs love! she's a lab-coon hound mix, and she's a beautiful puppyish two-year-old!SO ANYWAY i experimented a bit with this, and i really love how it turned out! especially the hair!! please tell me what you think! (and be useful!)

The pose and expression are perfect! This is really funny. Just like a dog. I also like the gradient shading. Did you do the line art in the computer or keep the inked lines from scanning it?

i did the lines on a piece of paper then inked them and put them on the computer. i always get smoother lines when i'm working with paper, probably because of the smaller scale, and that i'm accustomed to working in said size.
