"So. You do remember me, right?" She asked as she handed me the wine. I was taken aback and clarified. "Of course, I'm not suffering from amnesia, am I?" She looked away, "That isn't what I mean." She sighed heavily and she frowned slightly. Within moments a wave of thoughts shot through my head, "L...Linnie?" She nearly dropped her drink, "You do remember! Thank goodness." We were childhood friends, but life had separated us. It drew us back together, I'm so stupid for not remembering! She smiled, "I'm happy."
