Ok.
So this is the first time that I've drawn anything, or even tried to draw anything, in years. Like almost 10.
I still can't draw trees, but that is my fault for not practicing, so that is why I only have one close up. The rest are far background trees on that mostly collapsed hill. I don't think it's tall enough to be a mountain. Anyway, that 'carved out' bit is from a landslide.
I was trying to keep the shadows straight, but now that I look at it, I see that I did mix the directions of the shadows. Sorry. I am aware and I'll try better next time. The only reason I can give why is that I kept changing what I wanted to do and what I could actually do and didn't pin a light source to my paper that I was drawing on. I do know about that trick.
So this will be my post for today.
