Here's something that took me much longer than I ever anticipated it would - I spent around 4-5 days slaving away at this one drawing But hey, it's worth it for Hiummers!
So, in Hiumi's FEVER WIN animation in Pop'n Music Sunny Park, she makes a delicious shaved ice treat for the little purple mouse Pastel-kun - the Reflec Beat mascot who she adores and I imagine she even takes care of like a pet. The adorable little animation gave me the idea of drawing Hiumi sitting on top of a giant shaved ice like the one she made for Pastel-kun, but in a wonderland of delicious icy treats like ice cream and Popsicles! Now you're probably wondering if these really are giant sweets or if this is just a really tiny Hiumi The fact that there's also a giant version of the tablecloth from the aforementioned FEVER WIN animation here could make you think it's the latter, but judging by the fact that Hiumi can use her ice powers to make shaved ice the former is definitely possible Ahaha, I think Hiumi is really adorable like this~ I never digitally drew her in her Sunny Park design prior to this so this was certainly really exciting! I definitely plan to draw Hiumi a lot because if you haven't got the memo, I'm pretty much obsessed with her
For the most part the background was based directly on the FEVER WIN animation, though most of the sweets behind and in front of Hiumi are of my own original design. The bottle decorated with polka dots and lime slices on it is from the animation, though, as Hiumi holds it. I presume it's some sort of flavor syrup or fruity soda...And I do admit that the Popsicles were sorta based on the Frosticons' land from Mixels since they have ice powers just like she does.
Of course I had to also put Pastel-kun in there for sure since he's the one she makes these sweet treats for He's the little purple mouse holding a green spoon on top of the pink shaved ice in the front.
Also, strangely enough his birthday just so happens to be tomorrow and I hadn't known...So you can say this is pretty much a coincidental celebration for Pastel-kun I bet Hiumi would definitely do something big to celebrate Pastel-kun's birthday since she is pretty much obsessed with him in the way I am with Alt, haha
