Description
Itβs probably over by now here in New York, butβ¦Happy Millennial Tree Day! π³
Millennial Tree Cookie is happy that you celebrated with him!Β I was inspired by my pumpkin patch trip to draw him with exotic pumpkins π I also gave him autumn leaves in yellow and orange on his head as opposed to his usual green, because of the fall aesthetic I was aiming for here.Β Β
As you may or may not know, Millennial Tree Day is a Cookie Run Jennaverse holiday that is a big deal in the AU!Β
This is one of the biggest and most important holidays in the Cookie Kingdom in the Jennaverse because it celebrates when the City of the Millennial Tree, one of the most sacred and beloved places, was first founded many years ago! π₯³
The holiday honors Millennial Tree Cookie, his goodness, and his legacy.
The day Millennial Tree Cookie was brought to life years ago, from the big tree he takes on his name and form from, is when the city first begun to spring up. Though the city is mainly abandoned save for the Tree himself and Wind Archer Cookie inhabiting it, it becomes lively and bustling just as it was in the past this one day each year, as a huge festival is thrown. Cookies from all over pay a visit to the city and engage in harvesting and growing plants; songs, dances and rituals which are in support of Millennial Tree Cookie; eating traditional foods and wearing the traditional attire of the city; and getting to meet and greet with Millennial Tree Cookie himself. A modern part of the festival that is very popular is the inclusion of vendors selling handmade wares, foods, and other crafts. The festival day begins as soon as he wakes up, and culminates with a singing of the anthem of the city and a bright firework show. I even wrote a GDWC episode about it.Β Β
