The premise was simple...

... I wanted to draw your persona/avatar, but in a way such that it evokes the same fired up dynamic inspiration that your art and your attitude gave me when we first met!

I've been with you for like, wow, 6 years already since meeting on dA, I know times have changed, we might've grown into more cynical, hardened, burnt out, anxious selves - we're all growing up and have to face some realities/responsiblilities of adulthood that we don't want to face *nuhh don't we wish we can live in childhood forevar* - but at the same time it comes with stuff we couldn't do as kids; like what they say with great power comes great responsibility - and vice versa! Like now YOU CAN EARN THE MONIES to BUY UR OWN STUFF which KEEPS U HAPPY and aLiVeEeEEE

Keep staying true to yourself, strive for the best but remember to take care of yourself! And take things as they come sometimes! Only with a healthy body (mentally, physically and emotionally) can you be the best version of yourself to function well and keep going in life ^v^/ And that means routine maintenance like MORE SLEEP on CONSISTENT SCHEDULE and doing what whatever else is good for you *nag nag nag LOL*

(Seriously though I mean it, it took me a while but now whenever someone bids me goodbye with "Take care of yourself", it means so much more as an adult now when you're slowing taking over more responsibilities and goals and whatnot in your life)

I hope my drawing has rekindled some inspirational flame in you somehow, or at least kept the flame going, not sure how else to phrase it but YEAH I really wanted capture that same feeling/energy I feel whenever your work or comments inspire meeeee ^U^

p.s. I'm sorry that I didn't follow the most updated design, by the time I realised I had a screenshot of a sketch you posted on Instagram stories in my phone (HUEHUE SNEAKY SNEAKY) I had already finished this drawing months in advance cos I knew I'd be swamped with uni work by the time your birthday came and I couldn't give a late gift cos flying off to Hong Kongggg

Time taken: Approx 3.5 hours

Also, TIME MACHINE *nyooom* I realised a pattern where I do a proper birthday drawing every 3 years LOL
