whoops, i painted this in november and posted it to tumblr but never posted it to dA. blame college and video games.i was super pumped for dragon age inquisition and suffering a long wait for a new pc that would actually run it (which eventually arrived several days after the release date 8| ), so i drew a dalish inquisitor taking on a high dragon of some sort \o/
apart from this, i'm still not producing much work... health, college, and art block are a bad combination

i fINALLY got an upgrade for my PC a few days ago and have been happily obsessing over it since aaaaaah *strokes the screen* Have you met Morrigan yet? Without giving any spoilers I actually slid like 3ft away from my computer screen when I realised who was talking and spent the entire scene literally squealing out loud XD
I realised I shouldn't have taken my fiancé's "just YOLO that bitch" advice on that particular quest and gone too far ahead for my skill level, though, and I'm going to have to play that entire bit again later but I HAVE NO PROBLEMS SEEING THE MORRIGAN REVEAL AGAIN.

Eh Anders was Anders, y'know? I think his story arc was over; it wouldn't be worth bringing him back for Inquisition tbh.
Typically I want an even tactical mix of Warrior, Mage and Rogue (no matter what I'm playing as it seems to work in the long run) and luckily my favourite characters fit that mix so I use Blackwall/Cole/Solas or Blackwall/Sera/Solas. I mean, I love Cassandra but idk she's the weakest Warrior, I find, at least for me *shrug*

yep, same c: the ones i listed are my favs, thankfully. i'm not a big fan of blackwall or sera, tbh, but cole is such a darling. and solas is just an egg puppy trying to find his ball xD (his original concept art was so hot; why didnt you stick with it, bioware ;A; ) i use cas for dragon-killing, usually, because bull just DIES and cas is good for supportive skills

I didn't trust Anders from the start tbh so XD
I loved Sera's squishy little face from her first line tbh XD Everyone thinks she's annoying as fuck but I think she's just precious, and her morals are possibly some of the strongest out of all the characters. I think she goes a lot deeper than people give her credit for ugh. Blackwall is such an insecure guilty little puppy tho ugh but tbh I mostly choose him for his dialogue with Cole (he's sO ADORABLE WITH THE KID UGH) and Solas (they both confuse the living fuck out of him XD), and I find he's the best out on the field for me.
And Solas is the most precious soft-spoken elfy ugh *nuzzles him* he's my baby ugh I love him. He's romance option XD But tbh Morrigan is my soulmate ugh she's so perfect and she's gotten so adorable since having Kieran ugh
Ah, see I haven't had the guts for any dragon-killing yet XD But I tend to bring Bull out for the tougher enemies (the big guys with hammers and stuff ugh) and Cassandra tends to die all the time in my parties idk XD

ANDERS IS MY BABY my precious little mentally ill queer abuse survivor who gives cats dumb names ( i loved him from the first 'err... i didnt do it') but bioware are not good with treating characters nicely. 'specially not mages. [holds him away from bioware]
yeeeah i think shes funny? and kinda cute sometimes? but her attitude towards mages squicks me out (also if you romance her as an elf, she dumps you if you dont renounce your beliefs in elven gods which REALLY RUBS ME UP THE WRONG WAY) but she is good fun sometimes. and i just find blackwall kinda uninteresting compared to most of the other companions. solas is SUPER INTERESTING, but i am totally shallow and would be way more interested in him if he was a hot-ass poc elf with dreads like he was supposed to be >n> i totally romanced cullen first because im a sucker for redemption arcs and suffering characters, and his romance with a mage is great.
I really wanna do a playthrough where alistair is a warden and kierans dad, but i cant bear to have to make that HORRIBLE CHOICE in the fade.

I don't agree with their treatment of most mages but in the end Anders did what he did and it was beyond wrong and I can't forgive him for that. Idk I just never trusted him from the start xD
I've never really heard her speak negatively towards mages (and huh... the more you know). Blackwall has a pretty interesting backstory if you explore it (I recently did his personal quest and I was like o.o ) but I can see why people would think he's boring. Solas would be my squishy elf boyfriend no matter what he looks like tbh I didn't even take his looks into account (like srsly I was torn between like 25782958729 people for romance options until most of Solas' dialogue). And eeeeehhhhh Cullen is a little too Alistair for my liking? Like he reminds me of Alistair but he's... not Alistair enough? Idk I just feel like he's the poor man's Alistair and Alistair is my blushy king bb.
GAH I wanna do the warden playthrough too but after the choice in the fade... GAH. (MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE READING THIS AND NOT KNOW)
I ended up choosing the Warden to save in the end because although I love the shit out of my Hawke (it helps that I played Hawke as Oscar, if you remember my fics, and my Inquisitor is Sapphire (or Vamp if you don't remember that particular name) and the Hawke in Inquisition was somehow MORE perfect so yOU CAN SEE MY DILEMMA) I felt like giving the Wardens a chance to rebuild was the most important thing and tbh I would probably do the same if it was Hawke vs Alistair. I can't let personal feelings get in the way of what's right for the people, ya feel?
