Your pictures have a powerful narrative quality, and your command of color is enviable. I don't see many others that rise to this level of visual impact. For me (and I could be reading way too much into the experience) it seems that your work crosses over into something more than photos and borrows something from literature and music. It would be interesting to know how the end result evolves from the immediacy of the photo at the moment it is taken, or even if it does. Maybe the final result is already clear in your mind when you set up the shot. It is so easy, at least for me, to get carried away from the more straightforward minimal approach. Each element added in post or even in composition runs the risk of trite embellishment, sentimentality or worse, cliche. I never get that feeling when I see your stuff. It seems like every part is essential. I love what you are doing. A lot.
