It's the last page of Part One! It's the last page! Whoo hoo! *ahems* Well, it's AN ending, anyway. There's a lot of things I've sort of set up that haven't quite made it in (The Dark World, Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Comic who is shown on this page... stuff like that)... Which means there is going to be a Part Two. Any suggestions for Part Two are welcome, either in a comment here or a Note, if anybody cares
*ahems again* Anyway... Yes, the King actually has a name. It's Otis Ringel, partially mentioned here. Preston has a last name too, which is Pringle, but it never gets mentioned here either.
Oy, despite everything, I hope people have enjoyed reading this.Now I just have to COLOR it all

Really nice way to wrap this part of the comic (good job tying up those loose ends!) and set it up for Part Two! I'm really excited and I hope you post some more soon. I finally got around to commenting on your pages XD I had read them the day they came out, but hadn't had any time to post my thoughts. This is the best original comic I've seen on here and I hope you decide to continue it. You have some really solid characters and your plot is easy to follow.
I have to admit, your artistic skills still need some sharpening, but take a look at where you are now from when you've started. You're getting much better at handling panels, dialogue bubbles and drawing poses in general. Comix are hard XD but they are very worth it. Don't doubt your skills, though. You're NOT as bad an artist as you complain to be XD you're good! (you can certainly draw some things much better than I can) Don't insult yourself in the comic XD

I actually have like... nine or thirteen pages done for Part Two... But I just haven't had the will to clean them up.... which is not good, because those versions have messy lines and my cruddy handwriting XD For an example of that, there's like ten pages of another comic of mine (also with Rose) in my Scraps.

Don't rush yourself on Part Two, take time til you are confident about your pages and want to show them off. Don't feel like you have to make the public happy by churning out page after page XD
You should always be trying new things with your art. It can't hurt and it will always help improve you and allow you to draw new things. Look at it this way, if I never drew anything new, I'd still be drawing the stereotypical fruit bowl and trees with a lake, which there is nothing wrong with XD but I'd be a pretty boring artist, hehehe.

Well I'll say Ket isn't cursed... but there actually is a backstory reason to why he's purple, somewhat oddly shaped, and can talk... but it's relatively mundane. His mother was a normal cat who lived under either a magician's workshop or something of the sort, and Ket was the 'lucky' kitten born who had gotten most of the doses of magical energy. He doesn't like mentioning this because he was kinda booted out of home as soon as they could get rid of him because even his own family found him freaky... poor baby. -_- See, I do work out my backstory to somewhat of a scary level of detail sometimes XD
So far in Part Two Preston hasn't made an actual APPEARANCE yet, but his influence is felt enough to make at least one character miserable
