This is a comic I had originally began working on last year, but so many things were happening with the series that the scientists are from (new game announcements, Sonic comic cancellation, etc) that the comic fell by the wayside and didn't get finished and eventually forgotten.I found it again while sifting thru folders and figured I'd go ahead and just post it as is.

I can see Cortex coming to the next Mad Scientist meeting Cortex with a much bigger head as the number copies that Crash N-Sane sold made his ego grow alot^^

poor poor doctor wily..i haven't much clue about the scientist.. i know he suppose be from megaman but i never got into much that series

A bit of both. The way I see it the other scientists would rub their success in Cortex's face, and Cortex would overreact. It's a room full of massive egos.

Ugh, the Ratchet and Clank movie, whyy x.x It should have just gone the Crash bandicoot route and been a remake instead of a reimagining. Why fix something when it's not broken to begin with ;3;

I'm of two minds about the Ratchet movie/reboot. We get more Nefarious, but at the cost of lore wrecking. But hey, Nefarious in fleshy form!

Now now, the story isnt that great, but the reimagining is still a great game, and R&C1 doesn't need a remake it still looks good, at least the next R&C game wont be based on movie.

The reimagining has it's good points but they turned Ratchet into the opposite of what he was in the original. The made him into someone who wanted to be a superhero and admired Captain Qwark like a fanboy. In the original, he was hard headed and really only cared about himself, it was his development into that mature, level headed character that made him interesting. I know it's a reimagining but was it really needed when R&C was good enough to begin with? There's a ton of other issues I can discuss but the list is too long :,D

Ratchet and Clank movie review (SPOILERS)So the Ratchet and Clank movie finally got released, I've already been to see it twice already and I loved it!. I've been a really big fan of this series since the very beginning, so, naturally, I was super hyped about the movie when it was announced 3 years ago. After seeing it, I felt like I should write down my thoughts and opinions. I'm not going to sugar coat anything I say and I'm going to be brutally honest in my review. I may be a fan but I don't want to just say ''it was good'' and leave it at that but be warned, I may be a bit harsh in this review.
So let's begin!

So the story sets off on the Deplanitizer. Chairmen Drek is about to unleash it's destructive power upon the planet below to collect a part of it for his ideal planet, new Quartu. The first time I ever heard of Ratchet & Clank was the movie so nothing was ruined in my opinion

Thats mostly the fault of the studio who made the movie, first they scraped the original script, then they changed Ratchet personality, then forced to put some characters that hardly did anything(just to use some well known celebrity voices), and it didnt help that they even removed more scenes from the complete movie.
The reimagining was just a movie tie-in, and it told a better story than in the movie(though they couldnt do anything with Ratchet or clank).
Also there wont be another R&C movie, the next one is going to be a complete insomniac controlled game.

Yeah TJ Fixman's script was pushed to the side and it was apparently longer. I really wish he'd release the original one ;3;
The celebrity voices didn't help one bit boosts the movie's popularity. Instead it was more of an insult to get those voices in because it just pushed the voice actors, who made the series what it was, to the side. They put the minor character's voice actors names first on the DVD box instead of the main character's voice actors names.
In both the game and movie there are inconsistencies, such as the dwarf star and the purpose it served because it was taken out in the movie. Also the name changes for the explosive substance found within Umbris in both the game and movie.
I just feel like they went backwards with trying to promote Ratchet and Clank as a series.
The game sold really well which is great but now I feel like the timeline of Ratchet and Clank has gone a bit haywire. I'm just hoping it all gets settled soon.

Actually I heard that the Sonic Comics were cancelled. Or are on hiatus at the least... But yeah the Crash Bandicoot remasters were a long time coming and it was well worth the rate.

Sega cancelled the comic with Archie because of Ken Penders' constant harassment. IDW will start publishing Sonic comics next year but it's unknown right now what they'll be like.

I will never forgive that manchild Penders for what he's done to Archie or the Sonic comic.
I hope no one ever buys his fanfic tier "graphic novel", if he ever bothers to finish it. (Judging by the covers I'd be surprised if anyone looks its way).

I'm surprised that didn't happen sooner... The comics had been awful for years. I hope these new comics will be an improvement. But I hold little hope for Sonic Forces... And the fact that Sonic Boom was worse than Sonic 06 says a lot. The show is actually good though
