The Magic of Spring

Spring is the name of the fairy you see here, wielding her magic (as you can see by her hand), to bring the season of Spring about for all of us to enjoy!

I've been working on this since the first week of February. It's the longest I've worked on any piece. And I'm still not completely happy with it. It was basically finished by mid-Feb, but I couldn't decide on wings (I searched all over for wing PNGs and brushes, then ended up using ones I had already), and then the spot of sky above her head (where the bird is) was empty and putting a black bird brush there didn't fit, but putting a Robin, Blue Jay, Cardinal (the basic 3D bird stocks I have) didn't fit either; I didn't want to leave it blank, I wanted a springy, bright colored bird to go with the whole thing. Then, I ended up redoing this picture entirely: I originally had made it (without realizing) with Summer flowers, such as daisies, not Spring ones!

Anyway... All in all, I put a lot of work into it. And I'm quite tired of doing so. I'm also pretty sure that it's my most 'detailed' (if that's the word I'm looking for) piece - a lot of little things all put together, instead of using a background that had all of the flowers, etc.
