This Beak Winter
I don’t know what else I can do, to make these feelings go away.
So I’m going to end it now... This bleak winter, I can’t take.

I know that winter can badly depress some people.
It never has that effect on me, but I wanted to interpret it anyway.

This Bleak Winter
The snow has fallen.
Smothering the flowers,
Killing the grass...
And killing my spirit.
A blanket of ice.
Cold and numbing,
Covering the land...
And covering my heart.
Gray is the sky’s color,
The entire day long.
Leaving an awful feeling,
That’s heavy on my heart.
A sadness settles in.
Deep, down to my bones.
There’s a hollow feeling inside,
That nothing seems to fill.
I don’t know what else I can do,
To make these feelings go away.
So I’m going to end it now...
This bleak winter, I can’t take.
