Yes, for me really looked like a lily, so I had to google it to confirm, and Guess what? Yes! It is!
Although I like many kinds of flowers, I'm specially weak againts red ones.

I would like to watch it up-close at least once... they are called higan-bana in japanese, or red spider lily (but is not a lily), or officially Lycora radiata. If you find any, please took a picture of it

Adam and I were talking about how he's always gotten me roses and I finally asked "Did I tell you I liked roses?" LOL! I guess he just thought that was the thing to do! I've always enjoyed them because of the heart behind it, but I couldn't remember if I'd asked!

Thank you! I love the color too.. deep reds like that always make me happy... especially when it's not roses.. I don't like roses, they're so cliche and tired... hahaha... And I will be sure to thank that tall tree that was behind me blocking the sun, for giving me the wonderful lighting.. as it was not my doing.

Yeah, it is fun. When I've got my camera with me, I'll shoot pictures of some of the strangest things, just to see what happens. Every now and then one will be worth keeping.
