WIP- Basically, I find it very sad that bookstores are closing down and going out of business due to the rise of ebooks and the like. So this is my tribute drawing to good old fashioned books. Her dress is made entirely of book pages/ephemera. Not sure what to do with the background yet, and I still have a lot of work to do on her, as well. But it's a start!Related content

Love it! I actually love going to the bookstore but I know what you mean. A few book stores around here closed down and others have been downsizing on selection so it's rather sad. I don't like reading online or on those kindles and stuff.

Gorgeous! Have you read Un Lun Dun by China Mieville? There's a tailor who makes clothes out of book pages.

Woah, what a cool concept. It's executed nicely as well. I like the soft brushes and luminous values in her hair and skin.
