Well, Applejack's parents were finally revealed in 'Perfect Pear'. Their real names are Bright Macintosh and Pear Butter/Buttercup. Applebloom gets her colors from her dad.

one of the things that i hate about FIM is that we might never get to se what happen in a EP just think if faust keep working on this show.
Wish is also why i hope that if they do a Reboot of this show i hope that they will do just that and keep pushing them.
And don't tell me about the comic i don't hate them i might buy and read them one day but for now the show is the canon for me and the comics are none to me for now at least

Well mlp,is a kid show they would not mention death if in mlp season 4 mentioned the parents but possibly in season 4 they may return after Big Mac, apple bloom, and Aj are at there current stage of deployment. To sum it up they can return in season four.
