Since this is one of the most asked questions, I figured I could explain my process. It is simple but a little time consuming. There are other ways to use colored pencils but this is the one that has stuck with me so far. I hope it helps some!Related content

This greatly helps! I'm trying to learn to shade more! I can do it alright on paper but I can't do it on my computer yet. I got a new program that will help and such but I'm still playing around with it and learning how to use it. I prefer traditional anyway.

you can clean rubbing it on sandpaper or using a sharp knife

no, it may never look the same but once you smooth it out with your fingers after rubbing on sandpaper it'll work the same
