I don't know if you've answered this before, but, what brand of pencils are you using?

Hi! You have a great style of creating art. I was wondering what is that black thing next to your colored pencils?

Same with me just got back into pencils seems a lot easier going after doing two years of oil painting i guess trying different materials improves your overall skills

It looks stunning so far. Are you using prisma color pencils or just normal color pencils?

I've been testing out Prismacolor softcore and Caran d'Ache so far. I'm not an expert in colored pencils so they seem the same to me. :s

no problem. they dont cost much either...you can get them at places like michaels, hobby lobby and blicks for like $4 or $5 for two of them (in the US anyway)...you just lay down your pencil colors then use the blenders to blend the colors together (its like a wax type consistency) and you can just layer more color on top and use the blender as often as you want between layers....personally i prefer to put all my color down, use the blender, then go back in to throw in the lightest highlights and darkest shadows of each color on a shape then depending on what it is and how bright or sharp i want the highlights and shadows to be i sometimes use the blender over it again..but if your wanting a liquid medium instead of the waxy pencils id recommend trying turpenoid (safer cheaper and just as good as turpentine for most things)and brushes or q-tips over the markers (personal preference) but with those you cant layer as much, once you blend them with it once if you try to go back and blend another layer your massively weakening your paper....the blender pencils are the cheapest and imo easiest route though
