Description Last of her kind, she wonders what will become of her world. It all seems to have happened in a blink of an eye, and before she knew it, all the others were gone. Without any sign or warning, they would loose their wings and then themselves in madness. One by one they fell into darkness. The oldest and wisest could not answer why. They could not answer how, and they too perished.

From her home high up in the clouds, she looks over the vast beauty, all vibrant colours of life, she cannot help but feel touched by such wonder, even after all this time. Remembering how she used to soar through the skies, and feel exactly the same.
Feeling the warmth of the Sun Mother high above or grazing the treetops and feel the coolness from the Forest Father below.

Her time has come now, her wings have let go. It won't be long till the darkness comes. One last look at the Sun Mother and the Forest Father, and then the last of the wardens will fall. All the birds and insects, the mammals and the reptiles, all stop and look up in silence as the last of the butterflies falls.

I suppose you could say this is the followup to "I wish I was a butterfly"

I did an image a while ago to a HIM song called "Rip the wings of a butterfly" alto I'm not sure I have it posted on here.. anyway I did that one right after I started with poser again in June sometime and I just felt like I could do it alot better than that one turned out.. so I suppose this is also a re-make of that image

I am quite fond of thisone myself

Programs used Poser Propack 2010 and Photoshop CS

That's really cool. I like how the one wing is missing- or detatched I guess. Well done on this.

Wonderful colors and layout. The wing-off doesn't look very violent or worrisome, but her expression implies it might be.

Wonderful render Jenni! You have managed to capture the bio-mechanical feel very well. It has Anime/video game aspects so you get that almost "too" real quality. The weathering on the ship/thing/butterfly is very well done and all of the textures pop. Strangely the girl lacks some of the realism of the rest of the render. Maybe because she is smaller and the details don't show as well. She seems a little out of place. NOT that she is poorly done. You have utilized some difficult clothing models and the wings are right on. Lighting of the whole scene is great! I still have problems with directionality for my primary light source. IMHO this is a wonderful piece! Rock on.
