Description Pastel on sanded pastel paper. Size- A3

Time taken- Approx. 9 hours.

This painting was done for a personal project for school last year. My project was based on wildlife paintings of endangered animals (snow leopard, macaw and eastern timber wolf) and raising awareness of the issue through an art display.

wow! this is pretty amazing! you have really good talent! What is the difference between doing pastel on sanded paper than other paper? what does that kind of texture do?

Thanks and sanded paper holds more layers of pastels so you can work over different areas by layering. and i find it more helpful because you can work overtop and add more details. hope that helps
