Hi Jenny. This is a most charming illustration, quite magical and dreamlike. I also like your other work in this style, 'It's not Winter Without Snow' - you have a definite talent for this type of illustration and I can see your work being successful as children's book illustration.
I love how the road and buildings are curved, a nice stylistic touch - also in keeping with the curved lampost in your other work. I like how there is a glow or aura around the girl's companion, which suggests he is a magical beastie. The bent ear is a lovely touch, it hints as a form of kindness towards the child, like he is considering what the small child has to say.
I love the play of light and shadow. This is a vey special work and I can't fault it, thanks for sharing it.

Aww. Is this a print? Or pencil? Either way I love the fuzzy, dreamlike luminous feel. I would possibly ramp up the contrast just a little more, but that's just speculative.

I like the way you made the perspective. It looks so deep yet cartoon style.

Thanks! And a little bit of fisheye perspective to get that dreamlike feeling.
