Description Technically my fourth custom,
Officially my first.

This is the first one I actually spend time on, and put effort in to.

The wings are made with Super Sculpey, and attached using Milliput epoxy putty. I had such a hard time, you have no idea. The wings broke at the fixing point twice, and the putty was nearly slipping whilst dryng. Now though, It cam out okay. I would love to know what you think ^^

It went from a blank warmblood breyer stablemate to a red roan/appaloosa pegasus.

Its front leg as adjusted.

Coloured using pastels, and finished with acrylic paints and matte sealer.

Awesome job. I just finished my fourth custom. Oddly enough it is also winged, the first good one, and also on this mold.

It's liquid epoxy. i mixed it and set drops of it onto him. I had to remix it every five minutes or so and it took about four hours.

Hi!

It does depend on a few things.
If you go to this journal: [link]

Pick out details such as model size (Stablemate/paddock pal), whether you want it completed in pastels or acrylic paint, etc and I can give you a custom price for you.

(What country are you living in? I'm in the UK, so shipping so other countries may become pricey. Just a forewarning.)

Thanks! x

XD hilarious, isn't it? I've done some radical customizing, but I've never finished but two or so. chopped off heads, melted and posed legs... done lousy paint jobs...XD

( you're welcome!)

jennyraepip In reply to silversaluki [2011-08-06 15:58:50 +0000 UTC]

Haha that's wicked.

The most radical thing I've done is remove the mane and tail. I'd be too scared to take off a head XD Haha!

silversaluki In reply to jennyraepip [2011-08-09 19:36:17 +0000 UTC]

XD well, it was just stablemates... nothing huge and expensive, though cutting off the head is a little extreme... have you ever tried melting the legs over a candle to pose them? they get all charred and melted, but it's kinda cool looking on a palamino...

jennyraepip In reply to silversaluki [2011-08-10 19:25:16 +0000 UTC]

Ah yeah, I've done mainly stablemates. Although, I've done one traditional, but the only thing I changed was removing the mane and tail, then replacing it with faux hair.
Manipulating legs is so much fun. I did so with this pegasus. His wrist did kind of buckle though, so it's all wrinkled behind the bend. XD

XD I altered the leg position of the little shetland... he still has funny burn marks all over him.
