Yep.........2 trees.
Around in this area are a lot of 'tanks' man-made reservoirs and a lot of jungle and canals.
There are so many cormorants it is staggering...........saw some long necked ones too.
There may have been a fish market or something here before we got there?????

I live on a small five acre lake in the middle of Wichita Kansas (population 160,000) and we have, in the spring and fall as many as several hundred double-crested cormorants roosting in the trees on an island on the lake and feeding on the fish in the waters. To my knowledge, all cormorants are "long necked," no matter the species. They exist in many places in the world. Β  It is a sight to see and many people in this city who don't live in the immediate area have never seen one or even know what one is. I've had several people ask me the name of "that big black bird." Β  Β They are fascinating to watch, a very social group.Β

Oh how wonderful..........love cormorants.
I do know that in Sri Lanka we have 2 species.
Serpent necked and ordinary.
The serpent necked ones are so easy to spot..........neck is so long.

Yes!
Especially in the middle of the Country.
Unfortunately Tourism has wrecked a LOT of the Southern and western beaches.
We may look for a house to buy...........then you can come and visit.
