What the heck is this? Reflections on glass, reflections on a musical event, reflection of a culture? Is this a portrait, and if it is: is this a portrait of a man, a musician, a music, or a portrait of (a) Dance, rhythm, all the colours and sounds and smells and feelings of Beaucaire, a festival, or the well-trained senses of an artist?
The answer is not easy. But the easy part is overly simple.Β
This is not a heck. Heck is a type of fish and this is not a fish but a magnificent photograph. I don't know what is portrayed here exactly, because it depends on the person who admires the special sequence of the pixels and I assume that it tells different story to each visitor. But I am really proud to welcome this to βthank you, Jenny, for sharing it!

It's the kind of photo I like and I like that particular photo. It has that film grainy feeling, movement, and stillness where it counts in the form of the guitar player. The cropping is tight with no extraneous areas, the contrast perfect and over all has that slice of time feel. The dancers are juxtaposed well with the musician and overlap adding to the music maker/dancer connection, which is the subject of the photo.
