Description Entry made for the contest.

Her name is Aoi because she likes blue (Aoi is "blue" in Japanese, which is what that logo says). The end.


As per the contest guidelines, the themes used here are: Sky, Sound, Dream, Inspiration, and Joy. Love didn't work out quite right.

Since the themes were so abstract, the interpretations of the themes here are also abstract in turn.

Sky and sound should be pretty self-explanatory and apparent in the character's design (I hope...).

For dream: Who hasn't had a dream about flying?
For joy: There's plenty of joy in listening to music (unless it's of the angry/angsty/emo genres...). And if that's not convincing enough, wouldn't you be pretty joyful if you could fly?
For inspiration: Sometimes just thinking or daydreaming can be a source of inspiration from which ideas just flow out!

Thank you! I tried something new with the coloring this time, so I guess it worked out

And yea haha I wouldn't mind having a pair of those headphones either but I'd think twice about wearing them in public (Unless maybe you're in Japan )
