Description
Inspired by the Doctor Who episode, 'Vincent and the Doctor.' Van Gogh is my favorite painter and Doctor Who is my favorite show, so it's only natural that this would be one of my favorite episodes. And as an insecure artist who struggles with depression and anxiety, the episode carries significant emotional weight.

Anyway, this is my fifth painting based on the digital art of Alice X. Zhang, so all the credit for the composition goes to her. She's ridiculously talented. This is simply the result of recreating it with oil paints so that I can have something really cool to hang on my wall, though 'interpreting' might be the better verb to use, as each 'recreation' is more of an interpretation because I don't have the patience or skills to make it an exact recreation.
