Description The second vessel in the Khurian navy to receive an upgrade was the frigate-class. Like the Za’adur- class destroyers, the new Ja’hadoor-class frigates utilize a lot of stolen technology acquired from numerous neighbors. Designed to be comparably cheap, easy to mass-produce, and provide fast-attack capabilities, the Ja’Hadoor followed many principles- in theory, at least- of Garoudan warships.
Unfortunately, the Khurians are not as advanced technologically as the Garoudans, resulting in a vessel that does the job well enough against a second-tier or less advanced race, but still pales in comparison to the Terrans or Sarza. To compensate for this, the Khurians mass-produced these frigates using slave labour, resulting in a phenomenal number of these ships. Using what the Terrans term a “zergrush” tactic- the origins of the term being somewhat obscure, but referring to a mass wave of inferior troops or ships using their quantity to compensate for shoddy quality- the Ja’Hadoor frigates attempt to swarm their opponents.
Heavily armed for its size, the Ja’Hadoor-class carries two spinal mount heavy MAC cannons and two spinal particle beam cannons amidships. These weapons are comparable to similar weapons from older Terran warships- largely because the designs were stolen from the NAU- though with a slower rate of fire. Two dual heavy PPC turrets- one dorsal and one ventral- give substantial directional firepower. six medium PPC turrets flank either side of the Za’adur, and four medium particle beam cannons protect the flying bridge. Two four-shot SSM launchers and 10 point defense turrets round out the primary weapon systems.
The engines and jump drives of the Ja’Hadoor are top-notch for the Khurians, but antiquated and inefficient by Terran standards. A central single-core gravitic engine is fed by two hydrogen ramscoops, which also supply hydrogen for the weapon systems. All of these are exposed and easily disabled by accurate shots, as with the Za’adur, and like the destroyer, no attempt to sheath the engines or ramscoops in armour cowlings has been made as of yet.
The armour plating of the Ja’Hadoor is a composite of layered carbon composites and turine plating. Shields are based on stolen designs and- while weaker than the original Skree designs- are still quite capable, with a rapid refresh rate. Thus far, the largest engagement of Terran-based technology and the Khurian Imperial navy was between the mercenary firm PMSC and the defense fleet of the H’Ordala system, resulting in a total loss of all Khurian capital ships and only damage to the mercenary warships. Only a single heavily-damaged Ja’Hadoor-class survived the battle by fleeing quickly into hyperspace.

lol, good luck... I am planing on making some models of some of my ship designs, as time allows... I may do a limited resin kit release... but this thing isn't on the list of possible ships...

honestly I'm not sure, it'll be a first for me... I have skills making models, and custom making things since i've been playing 40K for over 16 years... i know i can mold putty and carve, so for me it will be easy to make the first ship, but im also lazy so after i make one... i leave it at one...so i will need to plan out the parts to mold it into, and just do it... im gonna be working over sheets of plastic card and many many x-acto knife blades... need Legos to make container walls for molds...i have the theory in my head... just gotta do it...

Wow, sounds like quite the project. Best of luck!

I'm gonna stick to my legos for now.

Ah a fine example of the always popular 'Honking Great Space Gun' school of design thought.
