I haven't taken plush commissions for a while now, but someone managed to ask right as I was bemoaning the terrible boredom that is uni holidays when you live alone and have no job! It didn't hurt that Sokka is one of my favourite characters ever
It's interesting to see how he's changed since my first Sokka so long ago. Not much really, lol. Just a cleaner face, larger pattern and the addition of a neck. Side by side, it looks like he grew up! I also learned that thin pieces of felt break way too easily 
So the straps on the boots and his arms are cotton. Boomerang because no Sokka is complete without one

Very cute! Sokka looks like a major improvement here! He's my number-one favorite on A:TLA, and I am eagerly awaiting the next cool Dark Horse comic book entitled The Search Part I. That doesn't come out until mid to late-March 2013, and its follow-up doesn't arrive until mid to late-July 2013, so I have time.

Glad to hear it. We have about a month left for the first part, and I agree we need to know what happened to Ursa. I've seen some excerpts from part one that show the first few panels of the story before the heroes embark on their journey. It was on Legend of Korra club's journal entries. Oh, and the Art of Legend of Korra is also coming out in July 2013, but later than the part two of The Search.

Haha no problem! I hope your friend loves him! I would love to see Aang or Zuko in your style (since you have almost the full-set made). I'm sure they would be equally as amazing as Sokka

I do want to make Zuko! I bought the fabrics ages ago but never got around to it...
And now I'm back at uni, bummer! Oh well.

Aw too bad! That would have been adorable! Zuko is my absolute favourite character, though Sokka is a very close second. I'm sure you'll get a chance when uni isn't so crazy (I so know how it is!).
I wish I had your talent at making plushies - I would love to have a Zuko, but unfortunately I have little artistic ability (my stick-people are pretty amazing though).
