For those who haven't heard, Gunsmoke in Gaia is my ongoing crossover comic between Trigun Maximum and Final Fantasy VII, set AFTER the conclusion of Trigun Maximum. I will be happy if I never have to draw Vincent's gun again. That said, I think this turned out AWESOME!
My comic is now approaching 50 pages, and I decided to take a little time and do some promotional art for it.
Trigun is (c) to Yasuhiro Nightow, Final Fantasy VII is (c) Square Enix. I own none of these characters, I am simply the author of this derivative work which brings the two together.

I don't know Trigun I must admit, but this does indeed look completely and utterly badass (and almost steampunk!)

Funny you should mention it, but Trigun actually effectively IS steampunk for the most part. Pretty much anything that isn't powered by large and unwieldy lost technology is powered by steam! Sand Steamers, steam powered cyborgs... it just doesn't have the overt steampunk flair... but that's okay. I prefer function over form in this case, because Trigun has a really cool unique look.
