Jeremiah always drew the image in simple pencil lines first and then went over it in ink or paint, filling it in as he felt. He was very much the perfectionist! He had high standards for himself and didn't tolerate failure for himself in his work in any way! He told me that he would put the work that he thought was a failure on the wall to remind him of what NOT to do. He made his life so hard and self unforgiving- my poor child!
