Actually, I liked Light very much but he turned evil in the end...Just too bad...I guess if you have power in your hands you begin to change. Too many deaths in this manga...

kya~ Melisa-chan I love this face of Light it was so helpless, yet there is still a slight of evilness in his eyes before he passed away XD . I agree it is the same e.g if you have lots of moeny, you just started to change..to good or bad that's it depends XD yeah lots of deaths.... but it was an awsome manga *O*

....absolutely!!! It's on another level of all the other mangas...it's just truly amazing!! I've read it so many times, still I haven't been bored. I generally love books and I read a lot so I believe that Death Note is a true masterpiece...you can't just predict what's going to happen in the next page...and every time they explained their plans and plots I was...0_0...whoooa....I do love some other mangas (like Naruto,Bleach,Fruits Baskets,D.Gray Man etc.) but this one is "respect" Story and drawing are amazing.The story especially is so like everyday life and "what happens when..." I was a little disappointed (and depressed) with L's death but I think it was necessary for the plot....omg...I'll just stop commending...soooorry...

Yep, Death Note is really one of the unique stories which come once in a decade or in a century, now that I've think of it, L's death was necessary in the storyline. However, I think if they focus on L Vs Light to really see the REAL end of both of them..not only both of them died, but to see who wins at the end in front of the other one!
both of their deaths are necessary, but if they show more friendship between them or something XD not yaoi, but at least their friendship how it can be end.
