Just playing around with more graphics - White Pointer is still one of my favorite story ideas. It actually started as a germ of an idea when I was a kid where I wanted to do a super-sequel to Jaws - Hooper was going to discover the reason for all the giant sharks hitting Amity - just a big gene pool that's following the jet-stream - and he calls Brody and tells him, 'remember all those giant sharks, that keep showing up? Well, here comes a whole bunch of them'But it turned out a real-life situation actually surfaced in California - repeated attacks off the same beach - brought about by the new seal colony down the beach drawing in large groups of migrating Great Whites.
So, like Jaws, I actually got to base my shark book on true events.
