I love how just looking at this piece makes me feel just how big the space around this person is. Both the city and sky seem to go on forever.

Love it! you should put some detail on the roof where the character, and work with pictures of cloud (i have a lot of pain to paint clouds myself too)
I love how you built your picture(maybe you should put a english flag on the wood stick the your character is holding to)

Haha, yes I referenced cloud paintings for this one. You're right, I should put more detail on the roof area.
I thought about that too actually, but I couldn't add a flag because of where the wind is blowing- the flag would hit his face XD
