Description Misty Lola opened the door to her high-class Tops apartment and strode inside, and went directly for the large, comfy sofa in the middle of her front room.

She collapsed onto it with a content sigh, it was good to be back in Neo-Domino city finally. For the last few months, Misty had been all over the world thanks to her career, there'd been hundreds of photo shoots, interviews and TV appearances, but at last she was on vacation and able to relax.

As Misty sat back and relaxed on the sofa, her eyes wandered around the large penthouse she called home till finally her eyes fell on the small table at the side of the couch.

Atop said table was a small framed photograph of a young man with dark brown hair hidden beneath a red cap, with a matching red jacket  and a black shirt.

The boy was known as Kai and he had played a huge part in rescuing Misty from the darkness.

He reminded her a lot of her brother, though there were a lot of differences, for one his attitude, while he was at heart kind and considerate, he had a habit of acting like a jerk to people to hide his good nature.

Misty let out a small sigh as her eyes moved from the photo of Kai and moved towards a small collection of boxes that lay in the corner of the lounge.

Being a world class model meant she was constantly travelling all over the world, and during her breaks or occasional days off, she liked to visit the local stalls and stores and buy things, which she had specially delivered to her apartment.

She got up and walked over to the pile of boxes and randomly selected the closest one to her, and began to open it.

As the last flap of cardboard was lifted, Misty gazed at the assortment of trinkets she'd collected and smiled to herself as she lifted the box up and returned to the other side of the apartment with the box.

Sitting herself down, Misty placed the box beside her on the couch and began to sift through the contents.

There were pendants and rings coated in gems and made from precious metals, a vase and an old portrait showing a warrior clad in shining armour battling a gigantic serpent.

However it was while she sorted through the collection of knick-knacks that she came across, perhaps the most curious and out of place item, an old wooden mask.

It had been an impulse buy, during a photo shoot in Denmark, during a day off Misty had gone shopping and came across this odd little artefact in a small antiques store, she wasn't sure why, but she almost felt compelled to buy it at the time.

So she did, and soon enough it found it's way boxed up with the rest of her purchases and sent back to her home in Neo-Domino City.

Now that she had the chance to examine it though, Misty noticed that it looked old, really old, hundreds upon hundreds of years, it seemed like it belonged in a museum more then it belonged in an antiques store in Europe.

As she continued to study it, Misty flipped the mask around in her hands, till she was gazing into the back half of the wooden artefact in her hands.

It was while she was studying it, that she suddenly saw a peculiar green light flash across the dark green wood momentarily, and just as quickly as it appeared it had vanished.

Misty stared intently "What was that?" she thought to herself as she moved the mask closer and closer to her face in an attempt to see the light again.

She wasn't sure why, but that light had enthralled her, awakened an almost child-like curiosity inside of her, making it virtually impossible for her to focus on anything except the strange mask that was ever so slowly being moved towards her.

The mask was mere centimetres from Misty's face, it's cold wooden surface just about to touch the warm flesh of her head, when it suddenly sprang to life.

In an instant the once immobile wood began to move and writhe as if it were alive. It lurched backwards, leaping out of Misty's hands and landing square on her face.

The mask continued to move even while on her face, now somehow stretching itself out as it began to envelop the super models head in it's pulsating and now rubber-like mass.

As soon as she was able to comprehend what was happening, Misty let out a panicked cry as she desperately clawed at the surface of the mask in a vain attempt to pry it off of her head, however the edges of the wooden artefact just continued to expand, undaunted by her struggling.

While Misty continued to struggle, she was pulled forwards by the mask's movements, and fell to the floor of her apartment, just as the mask finished encasing her entire head, her long black hair spilling out from the barely visible edges of the mask as it clamped together at the back of her head.

Suddenly a booming sound was heard, not unlike thunder as a flash of bright green light emanated from Misty's mask covered head, as she turned into a black, white and green coloured, human sized tornado.

The twister pulled itself off of the ground and began to spin itself around the massive apartment, as rushing winds and thunderclaps resounded throughout the room as she spun.

Suddenly the tornado's colours shifted into a red and white colour scheme as the vortex started to slow down, till finally with a piercing screech, it came to a stop.

Misty had changed, in more ways then one, the biggest, most striking change was her face, which was now a bright green shade and with much more exaggerated and rounded proportions, as well as a wide, toothy grin revealing sparkling white teeth.

Her outfit had changed too, she was wearing a dress where the top half was red, with thin straps on her shoulders, and rather....exposing of her assets, with the outfit completed by a pair of white, elbow length gloves.

The bottom half however was white and somewhat more classy, ending just below her knees, revealing just enough leg to be conservative, and yet sexy.

"Wow" the transformed Misty breathed "Didn't expect that" she said as she zipped over to a full body mirror in the blink of an eye. As she stared at her reflection, an even larger smile then before graced her green lips "It's different, it's unique! I think it'll be the next big thing, I'll call it Le Vert Masque...Because everything's classier if it's in French".

As she continued to check herself out in the mirror, Misty noticed her couch in the background behind her, more specifically she was looking at the table beside said couch....Even more specifically she was looking at a picture on the table.

"Hmm" she said, her grin as large as ever "I think I need a second opinion, perhaps I should go talk to my ex-manager" and with that, Misty suddenly zipped away, moving so fast she was a multi-coloured blur as she sped out of the apartment door and into the night.

Meanwhile.

Kai trudged down the dark city streets as he made his way back home to his apartment, his gold and red duel disk firmly attached to his right arm and his red cap pulled down low obscuring his blue eyes from view.

"Weaklings" he muttered to himself, he had spent the day at a local tournament, nothing big or fancy, but the prize money was enough to attract Kai, who had completely trounced all the other contestants.

But who was he to complain about easy money? So with winnings in hand Kai continued on his trek home, undaunted by the somehow sleeping city.

Suddenly though, the eerie silence was broken by a loud whistle, which instantly drew Kai's attention. He swivelled his head around, just enough to see a long slender leg stretch out from behind a wall.

Kai stared blankly, before turning around and walking away.

"Hey!" a voice suddenly cried out as a green and red blur appeared in front of Kai "You can't just ignore me like that....It's....It's rude!".

Kai just once again stared blankly, before suddenly speaking up "Misty?" he asked.

Misty grinned "Bingo, so Mr. Manager, what do you think of my new look" she said as she gave a small twirl.

"Ex-Manager" Kai said, putting a lot of emphasis on the first part "Now if you'll excuse me" he said as he tried to push himself past her, however Misty just kept on moving in front of him.

"Say why did you stop being my manager anyway? I never got a chance to ask."

"Personal reasons, now if you'll excuse me" he said as he once again tried to move away from her.

Suddenly though, he felt two, surprisingly strong, yet slender arms wrap themselves around him, as Misty pulled him into a crushing hug "Oh please don't go...I'd do anything to keep you here with me".

"Yeah okay it's stuff like that which made me leave" Kai grunted as he struggled to free himself from her iron grip "You're just too...Creepy".

Misty froze in place, allowing Kai the chance to slip out of the hug and move away from her. "Cr-Creepy?" she said, tears forming in her eyes.

"Oh don't even try to be pitiful, did you forget that conversation we had on the day I quit being your manager?" Kai said with an annoyed tone.

"The one where I said dueling with you was fun?" Misty replied.

"No, the one where you said I reminded you of your dead brother and that's why you were so hell bent on me staying with you".

"...Oh yeah that...Would you believe me if I said that wasn't me, it was my evil twin sister Sisty?"

"No" Kai said simply.

"...Well come on, so I said you reminded me of someone I loved, that's not too bad." Misty reasoned.

"Let's not forget the fact you just walked into my apartment while I was sleeping" Kai said angrily.

"Oh come on! You can't hold that one against me, everyone does it" Misty cried.

"It's still irritating and disturbing!" Kai yelled "How would you like it if I walked in on you sleeping?".

Kai instantly regretted saying that as he saw Misty enter some dream like trance as her imagination played out that scenario in her head...Whatever she was imagining, it was making her grin in a way that Kai did not find comfortable.

"I can already tell where this is going, I'm out" Kai said as he began to walk away, snapping Misty out of her trance.

"Wait don't go! I....I...I challenge you to a duel!" she suddenly cried out.

Kai stopped "...What are the stakes?" he asked.

"If I win, you have to stay by my side for forever and a day".

"And if I win?" Kai asked.

"You can have a kiss from me" Misty said with a grin.

Kai turned around "Nope not interested" he said as he once again started to leave.

However, Misty knew a thing or two about Kai, namely which buttons to push "Well...If you haven't got the guts to risk everything and rely on your skills..."

And with that Kai froze in place, as intelligent as he was, he was also prideful, and that's precisely why he turned around and activated his duel disk "Let's do this then." he said as Misty grinned.

Suddenly a green and black duel disk materialised onto her left arm "Oh by the way, I've been practising since I've been away, and I've got a few new tricks up my sleeve, so you'd better watch out" she said with a playful wink.

(Kai: 4000 LP. Misty: 4000 LP)

"Yeah, yeah whatever, I'm taking the first turn" Kai said as he drew six cards from his deck.

Kai examined his hand carefully "For starters I'll place one card on the field in face down defence mode" he said as he placed a card onto his duel disk, which then materialised on the field in front of him "And then I'll place one card face down, and end my turn" he said.

"My move" Misty said as she drew a card from her deck "Now then, I summon my cute little Gigobyte in attack mode!" she said as a small reptilian creature appeared on the field.

(Gigobyte: ATK: 350 DEF: 300 LV: 1)

"Next I'll activate Triangle Power, which increases the attack of all my level 1 normal monsters on the field, by 2000 points!" As Misty said this, the tiny crocodile looking creature was enveloped by a bright light.

(Gigobyte: ATK: 2350 DEF: 300 LV: 1)

"Now Gigobyte, destroy his defence monster!" Misty called out as the tiny creature rushed forward and snapped it's small jaws and the card on the field, which flipped up revealing a turtle with a sparkling green shell, which then promptly vanished in a haze of light.

(Gem-Turtle: ATK: 0 DEF: 2000 LV: 4)

"Looks like my little Gigobyte is higher on the food chain then your turtle" Misty taunted.

"Don't be so sure, Gem-Turtle's effect activates, when he's flipped face up I can add Gem-Knight Fusion from my deck to my hand!" Kai said as he pulled out his deck, grabbed the card he wanted and re-shuffled his deck before placing it back into it's holder.

"And now I'll place three cards face down and end my turn, triggering the second effect of Triangle Power, which destroys my Gigobyte" Misty said as the small reptile exploded.

"My move!" Kai said as he drew a card from his deck "I summon Gem-Armadillo in Attack Mode" Kai said as a dark brown Armadillo creature appeared on his field.

(Gem-Armadillo ATK: 1700 DEF: 500 LV 4)

"Now my Gem-Armadillo's effect triggers, allowing me to add one Gem-Knight monster to my hand, I choose to add my Gem-Knight Garnet" Kai said as he once again searched his deck and pulled out the card he desired "Then I attack you directly with my Armadillo" Kai said as his earthy creature let out a loud cry and dashed towards Misty intent on harming her.

However a card flipped itself face up on Misty's field "I activate the trap card Raigeki Break, by discarding one card I can destroy any card on the field, so I discard my Grandora and destroy Gem-Armadillo" She said as a bolt of lightning descended from the heavens and struck Gem-Armadillo, wiping it out completely.

"Fine then, I reveal my trap card Call of the Haunted, letting me special summon a monster from my graveyard, now come back Gem-Armadillo!" Kai said as his beast reappeared, now I attack you directly!" And so the beast once again charged towards Misty, who didn't seem fazed.

"I activate my second face down card, Mischief Maker" She said as yet another trap card flipped face up, this one adorned with stylised artwork of some silhouetted beasts standing behind a weird glowing Mask.

"I've never heard of that card" Kai said suspiciously.

"Well this little thing can only be activated when my opponent declares a direct attack and I have no cards in my hand, it ends the battle phase and lets me add a card to my hand, specifically a little something I like to call Mask of the Chaotic Deity" Misty said as she added a card to her hand.

"And what does that one do?" Kai asked.

"Oh don't worry, you'll find out soon enough, so do you end your turn?".

Kai grimaced "I place one card face down and end my turn".

Misty smirked "My draw" she said as she predictably, drew a card from her deck. "I now summon the Gagagigo I just drew" Misty said as a large humanoid reptile appeared on her field.

(Gagagigo: ATK: 1850 DEF: 1000 LV: 4)

"And then I activate my equip spell card Mask of the Chaotic Deity, I can only use this card if I banish two monsters in my graveyard with the same type" Misty said as a strange looking wooden mask appeared in the air in front of Gagagigo, before violently slamming itself onto the face of the monster, causing it to turn into a miniature tornado.

When the tornado faded, Gagagigo had gained a green complexion not unlike that of Misty "Mask of the Chaotic Deity not only raises my monsters attack points by 1000, but it also makes him invincible in battle, against monsters with attack equal to his own, and he can't be destroyed by spells, traps or monster effects".

(Gagagigo: :ATK 2850 DEF: 1000 LV: 4)

"What!? How the hell is something like that not banned?" Kai yelled angrilly.

"Well, let's just say it's a card that's so rare no one thought it was worth banning it, but enough talk, now go Gagagigo, take down Gem-Armadillo!" Misty commanded as the changed Gagagigo snickered and pulled out a chainsaw from nowhere, before diving onto the poor Armadillo, which could only let out a weak little cry as it was ripped apart.

The shock waves of Gem-Armadillo's destruction caused Kai to flinch as his Life Points lowered.

(Kai: 2850 LP. Misty: 4000 LP)

"Oh would you look at that, a direct attack from my Gagagigo and you lose, but oh well, I promise to make it quick and painless, after all I have plans for you..." she said cryptically as she ended her turn.

Kai just smirked in response "I think you're forgetting who you're dealing with" Kai said as he drew a card "I activate the spell card Gem-Knight Fusion! Now by sending the fusion material listed on a Gem-Knight fusion monster from my hand or side of the field to the graveyard, I can special summon it".

"I fuse the Gem-Knight Garnet and the Gem-Knight Obsidian in my hand together in order to summon up Gem-Knight Ruby!" Kai cried as two large warriors, seemingly made out of precious gems appeared on the field, before a bright light enveloped the two.

When the light faded, there stood a warrior clad in dark red armour, with a long blue cape flowing behind it and a matching red pole arm clutched in both hands.

(Gem-Knight Ruby ATK: 2500 DEF: 1300 LV 6)

"Big deal, he's no match for Gagagigo" Misty taunted "2500 is just a little bit short of the mark" however Kai only smirked.

"The effect of my Gem-Knight Obsidian activates, when he's sent from my hand to the graveyard I can special summon a level 4 or lower normal monster, like the Gem-Knight Garnet I fused him with to create Ruby" Kai said as a warrior clad in orange armour and surrounded by an aura of flames materialised on the field beside Gem-Knight Ruby.

(Gem-Knight Garnet ATK: 1900 DEF: 0 LV: 4)

"Now I activate the effect of Gem-Knight Ruby, I can tribute a face up Gem monster on my side of the field, like say Garnet, I can increase Ruby's attack points by those of the tributed monster until the end of my turn" Kai said.

(Gem-Knight Ruby ATK: 4400 DEF: 1300 LV: 4)

"Now go Gem-Knight Ruby! Destroy that freak of nature!" Kai yelled as Gem-Knight Ruby let out a battle cry and charged forwards, flames surrounding it's pole arm as it effortlessly cleaved the green faced monster in two.

Misty was knocked back by the recoil as her life points dwindled "My Mask of the Chaotic Deity has another effect, when the monster equipping it is destroyed by battle, I can return that card to my hand" Misty said.

(Kai: 2850 LP. Misty: 2450 LP).

"That's pretty cheap, but whatever, I end my turn".

Misty drew a card "I activate Graceful Charity! This let's me draw three cards so long as I discard two cards from my hand" she cried.

"What!? Now I know that card is forbidden" Kai complained.

"It's a perk for getting as far in life as I have, you can add one forbidden card to your deck" Misty said simply as she sent two cards to the graveyard, leaving her with only two cards in her hand.

"Now then, I summon my Razor Lizard in attack mode" Misty said as a reptile creature appeared on her field.

(Razor Lizard ATK: 1500 DEF: 300 LV: 3)

"Next I activate Mask of the Chaotic Deity, I remove from play both monsters I sent to the graveyard with Graceful Charity's effect, allowing me to equip it to my Razor Lizard" Misty said as the Mask once again appeared before her monster and slammed itself onto it's face, prompting another transformation.

(Razor Lizard ATK: 2500 DEF: 300 LV: 3)

"Now I attack your Gem-Knight Ruby with my Razor Lizard, and thanks to his effect, even though are monsters are equal, my Razor Lizard will be perfectly fine" Misty said as the green headed Lizard crashed into Gem-Knight Ruby, which promptly exploded, leaving no trace of it's existence behind.

"And with that I end my turn" Misty said with a grin as Kai drew another card.

"I activate the spell card Cup of Ace, now I flip a coin and if it's heads, I get to draw two cards, and if it's tails, you draw two cards" Kai said as a large coin appeared in front of him and was flipped into the air.

"Getting desperate are we?" Misty taunted as she watched the coin fall to the ground, before it landed, revealing it had come up heads, followed by Kai drawing two cards.

"Next I activate the effect of my Gem-Knight Fusion, by banishing a Gem-Knight monster from my graveyard, like my Gem-Knight Obsidian, I can add it to my hand" Kai said as he pulled the spell card out from his graveyard.

"Then I summon my Gem-Knight Alexandrite" Kai said as a warrior in shining white armour appeared in front of him.

(Gem-Knight Alexandrite ATK: 1800 DEF: 1200 LV: 4)

"However he won't be staying long, I activate his ability, by tributing him, I can special summon a normal Gem-Knight Monster from my deck, so I summon Gem-Knight Sapphire!".

Alexandrite faded away, only to be replaced by a light blue armoured warrior.

(Gem-Knight Sapphire ATK: 0 DEF: 2100 LV: 4)

"Now I play Gem-Knight Fusion, combining the Gem-Knight Sapphire on my field with the Gem-Knight Crystal in my hand, allowing me to summon Gem-Knight Aquamarine in defence mode!".

Once again two Gem-Knights combined together, this time creating a deep blue coloured warrior, holding a large shield in it's right hand, and with a blue cape flowing behind it.

(Gem-Knight Aquamarine ATK: 1400 DEF: 2600 LV: 6)

"Finally I'll place one card face down and end my turn" Kai said.

"Playing defensively, it won't be long now Kai" Misty said as she drew another card "In fact, I'll make a prediction, you'll lose in just two more turns, I'll end my move here since I can't break through Aquamarine's defence just yet".

Kai then drew a card, before "I'll end my turn" he said simply.

Misty drew again "Just one more turn till you lose, now then, allow me to show you your destroyer, I now sacrifice my Razor Lizard equipped with Mask of the Chaotic Deity, in order to summon the most powerful monster in my deck" Misty said with a grin as the very earth began to shake.

Razor Lizard vanished amidst all the shaking and rumbling, Kai struggled to stay upright, it felt like the earth was breaking apart, and that's when he saw it, a huge shape, easily the size of a large building, rearing up behind Misty.

"Come forth! Chaotic Deity Grand Serpent!" Misty yelled as the gigantic snake lay behind her and let out a hiss, that sounded a lot more like a roar.

It was enormous and green, with ornate symbols and letters all over it, along side piercing red eyes and a savage aura surrounding it.

(Chaotic Deity Grand Serpent ATK: 4800 DEF: 4000 LV: 12)

"I can only summon this beauty if I have four or more monsters with the same attribute banished, as well as a face up Reptile monster equipped with Mask of the Chaotic Deity, which I have to also banish, but it's well worth it as you can see, and of course he has effects too."

Kai grimaced "Such as?".

"For one thing he can't be destroyed by spell or trap cards, and when he attacks a defence monster, he inflicts damage to your life points equal to the difference between his attack and it's defence, now go Grand Serpent! Devour Aquamarine!" Misty commanded as the colossal serpent dived forwards and swallowed Aquamarine whole, causing a massive shock wave which catapulted Kai backwards."

(Kai: 650 LP. Misty: 2450 LP)

"Although he does have one side effect, when he attacks you get to draw two more cards, but it won't matter, I end my turn" Misty said with a dark grin as he monster slithered next to her.

Kai struggled to his feet "I'm not going to lose to you and your cheap tactics" he managed to say as he drew three cards thanks to Grand Serpent's effect.

"You were right" he said to Misty "This is the last turn for me, because it's the turn I'm going to crush that stupid snake!".

"Bold words coming from a guy with only a few life points left" Misty mocked.

"First of all I summon up Gem-Knight Tourmaline!" Kai cried as a yellow clad warrior materialised onto the field.

(Gem-Knight Tourmaline ATK: 1600 DEF: 1800 LV: 4)

"Next I activate my trap card Gem-Enhancement! This card lets me tribute a Gem-Knight monster on my side of the field and in exchange I can summon a Gem-Knight Monster from my graveyard, so I summon the Gem-Knight Crystal I used to make Aquamarine!" Kai said as a warrior in shining silver armour stood before him, seemingly undaunted by the behemoth before him.

(Gem-Knight Crystal ATK: 2450 DEF: 1950 LV: 7)

"Big deal, it's a monster with no effect, what can he do to my Chaotic Deity?" Misty said.

"Oh he can do plenty, especially when I activate my other trap card Rising Energy! By discarding a card from my hand I can increase his attack points by 1500 this turn" Kai said as he discarded a card.

(Gem-Knight Crystal ATK: 3950 DEF: 1950 LV: 7)

"It's still not enough" Misty said with a smug grin.

"Now I activate the spell card Double Attack, by discarding a monster card from my hand with a level higher then my Gem-Knight Crystal, he can attack twice this turn, I discard my Felgrand Dragon, who's level 8".

"Now go! Gem-Knight Crystal attack Chaotic Deity Grand Serpent!" Kai yelled as the warrior raced forwards, rushing straight at the giant snake.

"Are you crazy? Have you just decided that suicide is the best option...Unless....Wait no!" Misty cried, her smug grin long since gone.

"I now activate the effect of the Gem-Merchant in my hand, by discarding that to the graveyard I can increase the power of one normal type monster I control by 1000 points, making my Gem-Knight Crystal even more powerful then your Grand Serpent!"

(Gem-Knight Crystal ATK: 4950 DEF: 1950 LV: 7)

Gem-Knight Crystal let loose with a punch charged with shining silver energy, that struck the monstorous snake, and destroying it almost instantly.

(Kai: 650 LP. Misty: 2350 LP)

"And don't forget the Double Attack I activated, now go Crystal, attack Misty directly!" Kai said as Gem-Knight Crystal charged forwards and struck out at Misty.

"No, no, no, no, no, no No!" Misty cried as she was catapulted backwards by the attack.

(Kai: 650 LP. Misty: 0 LP)

The second Misty hit the ground, she was surrounded by swirling green energy, as the sound of a thunderstorm boomed in the background while high winds lashed all around her, till they just suddenly stopped.

Kai walked over to the motionless Misty, and saw she was no longer green faced, she looked normal again, albeit unconscious and sleeping in the middle of the street, however Kai found his attention drawn to the strange Mask that was laying on the ground beside the super model.

Kai recognised the Mask from the duel, and immediately began to put two and two together, he would have to try and figure out what had just happened another time though, because right now he was going to help Misty, even if she was somewhat creepy and weird, she still didn't deserve to be left in the middle of the streets.

So Kai leaned down, grabbed the Mask and managed to pick up Misty and lean her on his arm for support as he walked back to his apartment through the cold, dark city streets.

Thanks, as for what's next, there's a couple ideas, a follow up to this starring Sherry LeBlanc, something Gundam related, perhaps a crossover with an original story of mine, can't really decide on one
