This is one brilliant work!!!
Love the rippling of the sand... looks like its water or early morning fog on the ground!
Gloomy clouds like there's a storm coming...
Love the spooky & eerie feeling to it...
Great manipulation!!!

The clouds are pretty overexposed, which can be fixed with some blurring. I agree with someone else that you can see where you just pasted some things in, but you can easily cover than up with some extra work. Nice (love the colors, especially), but it hasn't reached full potential yet, or so I think.

Your signature shot. This is one of my favourite pics I've seen on DA, the vividness of the storm and wind and composition skills here, marvelous. The lines in the sand add a circular complexity, too. p;lus fav

Fabulous work, Jess! I love the sense of foreboding that you got with the heavy low clouds and the way that you touched it off with the ethereal lighting. I use the term "foreboding" but it's not quite what I mean. . . Harbinger would work better perhaps, but then I'd have to mess around with the grammar and syntax and it's too much work. Harbinger really works though because I don't have a bad sense from this image, but more a waiting expectance of good ( I think that's probably from the light). Anyway, I have to add this to my favs, as always with your stuff. Again, great work.
P.S. ~ Mehears some Schubert when I look at this. The slow movement from "Death and the Maiden" where the 'cello is pizzicato and the first violin is all jittery way up in the higher register....
