Melissa was awoken suddenly by Sisi's loud snort. Melissa shot up into a seated position, slightly breathless from being startled. Sisi lifted her head and gazed at Melissa with a puzzled look. After a moment she lowered her head again and with another loud snort she went back to grazing. Melissa pulled herself up off the grass and brushed off her legs. She stretched out and let out a long yawn. So far she had been at the show by herself and it was exhausting. Arianna was supposed to be bringing Pepper soon but got delayed by a popped tire, so it looked like she would be a day or two longer than expected. Melissa was excited for her to arrive, but she figured she would enjoy her down time with Sisi while she could. She really needed a good nap. Melissa tied Sisi up to the trailer and laid back on the soft grass and closed her eyes for a little sleep.
