One of IJN Ashitaka's friends from her timeline. Some might say she is her best friend (and those people would right, since the two of them are inseparable since they were built)
Unlike Ashitaka, Okita can either be classed as a mini battleship or a battle cruiser. She was part of the New Selected Cruiser division.

She is faster than Ashitaka but has lighter armor and armament in comparison.

Okita is not a ninetails like Ashitaka either but a silver kitsune with six tails. Whenever she pushes her pranks against Ashitaka too far, that fact will be used against her by the young battleship.

Generally Okita is a very upbeat girl that LOVES to play pranks but when things get rough she is fighting fiercer than most would suspect.
She once took a nasty hit while protecting her best friend, resulting in the loss of one of her eyes and some remaining shrapnel in her leg.
Ashitaka never forgave herself for letting this happen.
