In the 1996 movie Casper, we never see or hear much of Casper's mom except for that pretty lace dress. And we even get to see a photo of his father, but where's Mrs. McFadden?

This is more or less how I imagine she looked. The dress in the movie had mutton sleeves, which were from the Edwardian fashion era, I think. So I went looking through old dress patterns online from the same era and threw together another dress for her. Oh, and I didn't come up with her name--another Casper fan did.

I didn't use her as a reference, but I was inspired by actress Moira Kelly when drawing the face and expression.
