Hmm, saddlebags could be a little awkward during flight. but this could work, I see you've designed it around his wing shoulder but remember that all the muscles between his chest and the wing are used in flight.

Used, but not necessarily moving a whole bunch! The saddle fits like a harness or a backpack; with a backpack your shoulder and back muscles are used to move your arms, but the bag itself doesn't really obstruct movement
saddlebags would definitely be awkward, but they are based on horse saddlebags. More for trekking than for anything fancy

That's a fair point, I see you've thought a lot about the design, I was just thinking that the straps would need to work around the natural movement.

And I think it works really good. Heck, I would even try to ride it! Too bad that we don't have dragons in real. Then I didn't have to to the driving license now -.-

i don't generally get many views on anything yo uvu But u should def/ apply for a flying license; very worth it friend (dragons slightly less co operative than cars tho)
