Normally the revolver would be the first thing she'd reach for, it's the 1930s after all, so she's only using the sword if she absolutely needed to and she was close enough for it make sense. In history, you always carried the sword on the opposite side to your dominate hand, I thought of maybe combining holster with scabbard, I still might actually, but usually she wouldn't really have them drawn together unless she was in an absolute bare knuckles battle. And...I agree, no such thing as overly curvy hips, she disagrees though.
