When I first read the caption "What Does Your Artistic Journey Look Like?" it really took me by surprise. It's not something you think about everyday, or at least think about consciously. The Artistic Journey is something that keeps you going everyday. It's something that molds your every decision, affects your relationships in life and changes your moods for better or worse. While some may feel an artistic journey can be documented by milestones and accomplishments, I feel the artistic journey is documented by a physical expression of an emotion. A piece of art, no matter its form, is an emotion in it's rawest form and translated from your point of view for others to experience. And with that said; my Artistic Journey couldn't be expressed without my past completed expressions of art. This piece reflects a look back on my journey, "artistic footprints" left behind on my way forward; it includes a glimpse at my first piece ever to my most current work. My plan is to move forward, forever learning and creating art in the process.
