Description my first lino print, based on the previous photo i took.

In Australia lost pit bulls are not allowed to be rehomed. they are kept at the back of the shelter where you can't see them. dog shelter staff are not allowed to walk them so they stay in a tiny cage until their previous owner finds them or they are euthanised. Because of BSL [Bull Shit Legislation] they and pit bull mixes as well are deemed 'dangerous'.

This pitbull was the nicest dog at the shelter i volunteered at and it was still euthanised. all the shitty little toy dogs that bit people and attacked other dogs got homes.

I hate people like that. Pit Bulls are actually very sweet and loving. Bad dogs are made, not born. Punish the deed, NOT the breed!

I love what u have done .. the photograph doesn't give it the spirit it needs, but your work does. and the story.. that really got me. something should be done, it's not acceptable.. where's PETA when u need it?

PETA supports the banning of pitbulls :/ they also do a lot of other horrible things.

You really touched me.

I had one of this dog's. The best pal ever. Sociable, playful, obedient, smart, with attitude he was the greatest. Definiteley one of my best friends. It's crappy owners who are responsible for dogs that cause trouble. Because of them some races become target of prejudice. And a lot of dogs end up like this.

In the lino I like specially the eyes and the lines for the mouth.

That's horrible (the story, not your beautiful artwork!). I'm in the US, and in the county I live in, all surrendered and lost pit bulls and pit bull mixes are gased by the county dog pound, just as you stated, since they're deemed dangerous and not allowed to be adopted out, despite how incredibly friendly and lovable they are. I've walked through that pound once, there were eight or ten pit bulls, all of which were almost too friendly, except for one that was a little shy, but he came around after a few seconds. That being said, a Dachshund at that pound, on the same day, tried to attack me through the bars of his/her kennel.

Anyways - I love this drawing, it displays much emotion and the title fits it perfectly.
